Pro-Paste™
Splatter Free Cleaning
Because AllPro manufactures
non-latex prophy cups, it is a natural thing to sell prophy paste to go into the
cup. There are many different
brands of prophy paste on the market.
There are also many flavors and grits.
What is so different about Pro-Paste™?
One of the major problems
with prophy pastes is that they have a tendency to splatter.
We have been asked many times if our prophy cups are splatter free.
It is not the prophy cup that splatters, but rather, the material
going into the cup. The
looser the paste, the greater the splatter.
Pro-Paste™ is very stiff.
In fact, many customers think the paste is old because it appears
so dry. We have made the
paste thick on purpose. The reason being that when the paste is placed into the cup
and the angle turned on, the paste will stay in the cup. Once the prophy cup has warmed up due to friction, Pro-Paste™
becomes softer and will handle beautifully.
There is no way to control the speed of the angle once the foot
control is depressed. Therefore,
it is important to have a material that will be able to handle the
centrifugal force being generated.
Pro-Paste™ individual
unit dose cups, mint, coarse grit (Part No.
570) is sold in boxes of 200 for
$29.50.
